Steve McCormick sent me this horseshoe pickup and a love note to white pine. The end result is an amber slab with a custom pickguard and 3-way switching. 24-3/4" scale quartersawn maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, 3-saddle toploader bridge, unbleached bone nut, vintagey Gotoh tuners, not much else [except flatwound 12's tuned to open D].
