The spruce for the body of Brigham Brough's guitar body was originally plank from his childhood house in central Vermont. I've been using that spruce regularly for a couple of years, ever since I traded Brigham's father a case of [albeit fancy] beer for four of those planks. The maple came from a tree on their property, cut twenty years ago. The granadillo fretboard came from his dad's stash of hardwood. Shop local.
