ERIC HEYWOOD'S BIG BLOCK BARITONE

Eric Heywood's baritone guitar is build on an alder body with three custom-wound Lollar baritone pickups. GHS 14-70 strings stretch the 30" between the bone nut and Schaller roller bridge. Bigsby B-5, of course, and a 3-ply parchment pickguard. Sounds like a grand piano or archetypal twang depending on the position of the specially-wired 5-way switch. Subdued stripes, nitrocellulose lacquer. See Eric modeling his other Creston Electric in the pages of the final issue of No Depression, YouTube, etc. And keep an eye open for him with The Pretenders, Ray Lamontagne, etc at a theater near you.
