TOM POLEMAN'S BIRTHDAY GUITAR

After Water Poleman had been paying his guitar for a year or so, he and his sisters decided his brother, Tom, ought to have one as a present for a significant birthday. It's an assembly of wood and other stuff (a stone from Michigan, a tiny pendant that belonged to their father) with geographic or other personal significance. White cedar core from Vermont's Northewast Kingdom, quartersawn sycamore top and back, American chestnut, cedar from London UK, lacquered pickguard made from disc one of The Who's Tommy double LP, an elephant tooth (!) nut, Shelburne Farms maple / Ugandan ebony neck Lollar '64 and Special pickups. Thanks, Polemans! Happy birthday, Tom!
